Hi all, hope this is in the right place (first time poster) anyways my question was how long is the working life of a new England climbing rope? Used about 3 days a week. Thanks in advance

Assuming you don't nik it, then it will be good for years in theory, although there will be a time limit where it should be replaced

Thanks guys appreciate your input, truth be told I'd be happy enough using my old ropes but i work for a large corporation who can afford new gear and have a big safety culture so was wondering if and what the official length of time u should retire an un nicked rope after? I realise people who are paying for kit themselves will be happy and keen to use older gear
