I’ve been offered a stump grinder by a friends dad that he’s had from new. It’s branded as a Major (the company who male tractor equipment) Does anyone know much about them or what it would be worth. Looks virtually brand new. It’s a self propelled pedestrian grinder.

Major were importers of LASKI woodchippers and Stumpgrinders for west and maybe all of Ireland.

they had a Stumpgrinder as you describe on display for ages in their agri-factors store at their factory in Mayo.

Would have bought it if I had money and big grinding job at same time. Was at good price at the time, maybe 9 or ten years ago.

I’m pretty sure Greenmech  used to sell same machines in their own nAme at the time
