Forst st8

Was just wondering if anyone could tell me a rough price what they paid for a st8 chipper. And if they would recommend running one. Thanks

Hi I payed around 24.000 brand new from red woods comes with spare blades ECT i find it eats wood lovely. no mechanical problems yet just mind the exhurst it burns your leg it just sticks out
Multi chip size easy to set at the side
Lovely big feed for brash/ leaf matter
I think it's quieter then timber wolf ECT
And it's super sexy on the back of a truck
Down side is the price but you get what you pay for

I ran 2 Forsts, a 6 and an 8" both were very productive machines when running, mine were early ones and both had problems, back up from Redwoods was superb but its still down time that cant be got back. Think I paid about 19k for the 8", would I have another yeah probably but after running a couple of Bandits a 12" and a 7" I think there are more reliable machines around like Bandit , Vermeer , Greenmech, Jensen etc.
