Anyone have any recommendations on this saw,as iv bought one online from fr jones,

Ie:- good points and bad points would be appreciated.

I have been very disappointed with the quality of my 560XP,   two engine rebuilds in under 300 hours. 

When running its a lovely saw, but ! cant hack unreliable kit.   Hopefully the 562 has ironed out the bugs on 560.

 

But after a lifetime of Husky I have just bought my first Sthil, a 462.   The 560 will be a back up saw to it.

I bought a 562 xp last week. Fantastic performance for a little 60cc saw. More like what you’d expect from previous 70 cc saws.
The hot start procedure as per the manual is a bit of a faff compared to other saws but I’m sure I’ll get into the habit. Build quality is better than current stihl saws. I can’t comment on reliability after a week but I’m impressed so far with performance
I have plenty of stihl saws mainly larger saws and trusty 200t. But for mid range 50 to 70cc saws I like the husky options at the moment. Epic chain speed and pick up.

mines been faultless. like the bigger bar option as it will take up to a 28” bar. light saw for the power so not too much work if using it up a tree.
