Need to buy another set of ear defenders for milling - any recommendations?

[these to be worn by themselves ie not with a helmet].

3M Peltor Optime lll, can buy with head band fitment or clip on helmet fitment, used in aviation and marine conditions, i.e landing planes to engine rooms. Visit the 3M site, loads of other alternatives. We use them at work for when we are all using needle scalers and buzz guns etc all day long [emoji106]

Ok will try the Peltor Optime III - good review here as well [not the usual review pages splattered all over with advertising!]

I’m gona buy some clip ons for my stihl lid, the ones that come as standard are “ok” but after using the 3m variations over the years at work you get used to the feel and sounds etc once theyre wrapped round your lugs...... dunno its hard to describe, but as daft as it sounds you can still hear what ya need to hear yet the noises you dont want to hear are severely deadened. And theyre comfortable too so your not constantly faffing with em either.
