knee pads

Aren't a million layers of soft fluffy wadding and stray woodchip that's inside you ballistics enough to keep your knees well padded?

I found that a desk job tends to keep mine slightly less battered these days ?

I've worn loads of different knee pads in the past for different jobs and honestly the best ones are the smaller replaceable ones that slip into the sewn in compartment in your trousers. Maybe ask a local haberdashers/tailors and see if they can fit them to your chainsaw pants. Honestly the military type ones are ok but you will spend half the day adjusting them.
