Is it safe to climb SRT on a Petzl Zigzag with a rope wrench?

Quite a good video here running several tests on using a zigzag with a rope wrench.

wish they had done the stopper knot test without the wrench - seems to me with a slightly heavier construction the zigzag could be used in single line mode on its own

Very surprised/impressed the rope snapped before the ZZ failed, also goes to show how poor the Petzl rip-off of the rope wrench is ?

Pretty valid point!
I never liked it on the rope wrench , would not tend slack and was hard to pull through... wish I’d tried it on its own after seeing that test.
