Thanks lovely! I enjoy the term 'lady feller' but I must admit it took me a second! ? I'm obviously starting on the ground and am doing my CS30/31 next month. I'm bugging the guys with lots of "why are you doing that?" but they're very obliging!

I thought you only got them in Thailand? o.O

Hi,

I thought the lilac gave it away, anyway, arb association now do a women in arb group to bring to the attention of suppliers how 'pants' the clothing and boot sizes are for some of us. Several socks is the answer  to the boots.Contact them and they will put you in touch with the group if you are a  member.

Good luck.

Hi Natalie,

Hope you’re getting on well in the job. Probably too late now but I agree with previous comments about arbortec breatheflex trousers - I’m very petite and these are the best women’s fit I’ve found so far. I was wondering whether you’ve done your climbing ticket and recommend any harnesses in particular - looking to do my cs38/39 this year and having done a small amount of supervised climbing previously have found only one harness that has fit me - most are too big! Can’t remember what it is though, all I know is that I tried the simarghu Gemini harness and found it was still a bit big. Would be grateful for any suggestions!

Ta,

Thanks Chessa/Sparrow

I'm planning on doing my climbing tickets in the late spring. I passed my Chainsaw and small felling tickets in December so want to be 100% confident on the saw before I get my climbing going.

I've got Arbortech breathflex trousers - And I must admit I got the mens black and pink ones! That, however, is my pink limit :D

I will soon be looking for a harness, the lads at work use treehog and Simarghu, but they're all medium so I doubt would fit me. I'll have a look at the Treemotion harness!

Thanks for the advice ladies :-)

My girl swings a saw. She grew up in the wild. Could dismantel an engine aged 12. She's no ticketed, but she'd put the average boy to shame. She can run a band saw & still flick heels on for the local bar like a slinky malinky. More power to ye girls.
