We've come to a time where we would be willing to sell our rotary Dolmar but before we do, does anyone have any info or advice on UK pricing, wheres best to sell it etc.

The saw has been here for years, occasionally getting started to make sure it still runs.

Any information regarding these saws would be great.

The Hamburg-based manufacturer Dolmar, who recently presented the first production-ready four-stroke chainsaw, takes a completely different approach to complying with the new emissions standard. So far, the use of four-stroke engines in power saws had failed mainly due to the non-technically realizable high speeds.

The new development "PS-500V" from Dolmar now comes to 12 500 min-1, despite extremely light and inexpensive construction. "Such high speeds on a bumper-controlled engine required a very careful interpretation of the dynamic behavior of the valvetrain," said Böblinger engineer Burger, who helped design and develop the small four-stroke engine. With 50 kW / l displacement from an extremely compact package, this unit sets new standards in small engines. In order not to complicate the market launch of the PS-500V, it is operated as a two-stroke engine: with fuel / oil mixture. Reason: The forest workers want to refuel their equipment from a canister instead of carrying a whole arsenal of supplies.
