Anjous Pear

Attributes: Of the two kinds of Anjou pears, the green pears are simpler to discover, albeit red Anjous are making progress. Short, squat, and full, these pears look as though they nearly have no neck—giving them an egg-like appearance. The two assortments have a smooth skin with substance that is succulent and firm. Green Anjous remain green, notwithstanding when completely aged. These are best eaten crude.
