I’ve e ordered the Teufelberger Fly and it should arrive Monday. Are you using 8mm cord on your hitch climber?

8mm Marlow viper for me. It's just what my local supplier had in. It's only a mile and a half from home and I drink with a couple of folks who work there. So quicker than mail order

I’ve got 8mm ocean cord being delivered with the Fly, but how local dealer stock mainly Treehog climbing gear. The only treehog gear I’ve got is the climbing spikes and happy with those and I’ll pop down and see what rigging gear they have, that’s my next batch of gear I need to buy.

How have you got on. Have you managed to get out and climb on it yet? I know your waiting to do the tickets, but no harm in practicing

I try and get out three times a week and practice in some woods that’s on the farm where I keep my honey bee hives, the farmer is a very good friend of mine has told me to use the woods anytime I like to practice in. I’ve been using the hitch climber on the Hedera rope and I’ve also been using the Blake’s and prusic to practice the body thrust on some 10mm static rope that I use for the odd tree job now and then.

I also practice using the land yard as well, I’ve bought the teufelberger hipstar land yard and I’m making up a couple of spares as well one short and one long, I use these for securing a second line when moving up the tree and also the limb walks.

I will be buying some superglue tomorrow and then look at buying the heat shrink later in the week and then making some Prussic loops up.
