You could always join NTS Scotland and save yourself £18 quid on membership for a family, compared to NTS England.
 

Interesting point Mike [emoji6] Would love to see more of Scotland, but whats disappointing is that “national trust” Scotland is different to “national trust England” ?!!!!! Hows that work? Honestly thought that the membership would entitle us all to places either side of the borders! [emoji15][emoji30]
