Guy that works with me bought one but not used it yet. He was looking to get a spare battery but found they are made in the US {not by einhell like most of their stuff) so not easy to get. He was talking of taking it back to lidl.

The florabest electric sharpener I was given nearly new lasted about 4 chains before the plastic thread that holds the disc on fashed itself and now it vibrates heavily and sharpens on the piss.

Not overwhelmed by it's quality. So personally wouldnt bother with other florabest kit

My neighbor bought his elderly dad one from Lidl as far as I know he used it around 15 mins & then  tossed it in a container he keeps his "Maybe useful junk" in don't know the problem

Don't they have a warranty that is slightly longer than they last enabling the purchaser to take them back for a new one , add infinitem    ?

I have still got my Florabest sharpener, it doesn't get huge amounts of use but it still going after about 7 years so I reckon it has paid back the £20 or so it set me back.

Mine has given sterling service over the last five years sharpening mine and a friends chains. You'd have to be pretty cack handed to break one in hours I reckon. £20 well spent I think.

Cant knock florabest kit for the price, you pay for what you get, my sharpener is still going strong after 6 years of abuse, Their Parkside cordless equipment is amazing value considering its made by Bosch.

Our Florabest brushcutter has been worked hard on our farm and it still works great. Zero break downs. Absolute bloody bargain I reckon!!
Cheers, Steve
