It's hit our trade quite badly, who in thier right mind want's to lay turf in this weather.
We were filling bulk bags with topsoil but gave up after it just got far too hot in and on the machines, but it has given us the chance to get all the yard hardstanding done, so not overly bothered.

Turf laying is hard in any weather. Customers never really appreciate how much watering is required afterwards either in this weather. I'm like 5 liters per meter x3 per day for 2 weeks if it's baking hot and they are like WTF

Our landscaping guys have postponed all of their turf jobs until the autumn. Utterly pointless unless you want your garden to look like somewhere in the Sudan.

Did some large ringing up with the 880 today and stacked the rings on my jack. (Been working in the office a lot lately,)
I was soaked and done in by lunchtime.
Take my hat off to anyone climbing everyday in this. Or dragging brash in chainsaw trousers.

you do realise that the wearing of chainsaw ppe is optional if the temperature is such that it might cause heatstroke, check the wording  in the H&S guidance booklets, and yes I know all about what your going to say about puwer....it says similar stuff. jremember none of it is compulsory, or a legal neccesity. its all advisory, but highly recomended, and ultimitly at the users discrection
