vented sacks

Recommended Posts

Looking for a reliable supplier of good quality 1m3 vented/mesh sacks suitable for log drying. Been searching the internet but that comes up with prices at £5 and £7 a bag.  Was hoping to get then around £3  😕   I know this subject has been discussed before but I am new to the site and could not find recent posts.

Mca Kingstone are the cheapest at that size I’ve found. Good quality too.

Don’t think and vented bag helps speed drying though. Might get away with it this year but not on a normal year.

Some are far more prone to UV damage than others,    don't put them in direct sunlight and they should last some years.  I have some green Bag Supplies ones still going strong that I bought in 2011.    Vented bags do help drying,  they allow air to flow through the stack of bags,  no air flow = mould.
