Advice on haikki ideas ?

Having bought a towable Hakki carry 25 with conveyer need some ideas I have a issue to solve as the conveyer folds up etc I am struggling to to push highest part of conveyer to be able to fold it double when finished for the day etc due to tension /spring on conveyer etc as u lift from tip of conveyer the whole machine will tilt hence no lifting capability to fold over conveyer! 

 

Even with all legs down its not keen on breaking to be able to fold it up !!! Spring appears to be bloody strong lol

stick a piece of timber on the floor beneath the tip of the conveyor, lower the conveyor till the logs taking its weight...step on the middle of the conveyor to fold it
