They are a great vehicle - but can be way expensive - I have my landrover SII do as many jobs as a Mog can , but they are the epitomy of German engineering :) K

I’ve often wondered how you work Khriss. Do you run your own firm?

Don't suppose unimog owners will want the rest of us to know the reason for selling? ?. Maybe people are being forsed into o lisence with mogs and don't fancy the hastle?

We used to run three of them but could not keep up with the mayhem/damage the lads caused on the roads and the constant costly mechanical repairs, they are very much an owner driver vehicle . I have kept one back for the odd occasion we need a mog with a chipper over the common or if the grinder is needed within a few miles of base I just hook it up on the mog otherwise it goes behind the telehandler and is dropped off with the low loader. . The new laws on fast tractors only apply to non ag/forestry use so wont affect many that run mogs in this game.

Definately Bob - idiots in Mogs can trash the vehicle and a site - saw one guy flying abt on a council cemetry site , rutting the land and finally got it stuck ! ( Which should be impossible with a 4x4 twin diff lock mog ) I don't think they shuld be driven fast on road - treat it like properly like a tractor and you can't go wrong , K

Well, I am employed and self employed , I do consultancy and surveying and still climb a bit , its really quite fragmented mate - and I must start streamlining it soon , but with the way the UK works , I aint sure how thats gonna happen :( K
