Hoping I can get some help this morning as I haven't been able to get through to greenmech. I bought my first chipper recently and I'm taking the day off to service it tomorrow. My machine is a EC 150/ 25  D . It is really old with the Lister engine.I'd love to know the generic part numbers for oil, air and fuel fillers. Can anyone help please, I'd really appreciate it :-)

Cheers Guys, So this morning I called Orange Plant first, who are my local suppliers and they were great but , like me couldn't get through to greenmech , it was just before 8.30 am so fair does, to get specific part numbers. I keep my chipper away from home so only had the make and serial number to hand. Got through to Peter at greenmech and he was incredibly helpful. Got all my numbers to do a service. TMS, my local motor suppliers have sorted me an air filter and fuel filter for it for £13 so that's a win. The air filter in my machine seems to be off a micra, don't know if that's normal. Got a price for the hydraulic filter but that's £80 so giving it a miss. I could do with getting the injectors atomized fairly soon. Does anyone know what cost that is or how cheap new injectors are. Also to save me looking it up, what's the best motor oil to use?I have plenty 5w30 and 10w40 in the shed. Hoping it's the thicker one but would like to know the best one. Cheers Steve for the PeteB ink, I lost his card so couldn't ask him but met him a while ago by chance and found him a really genuinley nice bloke. I spoke to him about woodchippers as I was after a cheap, good first chipper. I liked the gravity fed jo beau ones and was dead impressed, I know Stephen Blair was harping on about how much he rated his chipper and I was swayed, But having spoken to Pete I got my heart set on a tow along greenmech, so I've saved up hard and got a banger to do up. I've wanted a dog for a while now but as I don't really have the time for one I call my chipper 'the dog', which it is in many ways....

Thanks Jase,  I like to put the right oil in things I want to work well so I'll pick some up. If water traps aren't a thing usually fitted by others I probably was just going a little over the top as I'm not the most mechanically minded in the trade. I have been known to wear a belt and braces so I'm aware I'm capable of going the unnecessary extra mile and over shooting the mark!

Hi Rachel, glad you got a road tow and glad Jase has responded. Better advice than I would have given as I would have said cheap old 15/40! I wouldn't bother with an water trap filter but fit an inline as you can see if crude is being sucked in. Give me, or Jase, a call at any time, 07774 282481. Sorry you couldn't  get through 1st thing, I know that Jase is on holiday and his 2IC, Nick was helping someone from Hong Kong this morning.

BTW, Orange don't do GreenMech, go to Lloyd Ltd at Throckley and get your spares from them.

Hi Pete! Hope your well. I got through to Heather at greenmech pretty quick this morning. Just went on here while I was waiting as a plan B. Orange seemed happy to get parts for me but was aware they seen't a dealership, I've hired a forst off them before and didn't see any greenmechs kicking about. The price for a hydraulic filter was too much for me so hoping the one on mine is good enough. Good to know there's a place in throckley, that's closer for me. Anyone I've spoken to locally seemed to suggest orange. What's the price for disc sharpening? I bought new ones but could do with the old ones as sharp spares rather than blunt spares.cheers.
