Multi one loaders

Hi All,

 

I am going to buy a loader to replace a old tractor I currently have, thinking Multi one. I want this for arb work, lifting heavy logs, trees etc. The problem I have had in the past is finding a decent log lifter for my tractor. I want something that can cope with heavy lifts, rough ground and will no deform the ends of the grapples etc.

 

So one of the questions I have is does the multi one cope well and last?  

 

Not sure what series I would consider, will find out more about the cost this week however whats the minimum  model, in your opinons that should be considered suitable for general arb work?

Hi Mick, 

 

Not planning on anything outside Arb at the moment. Standard residential & some small scale commercial type work currently. However looking to the future with business expansion in mind. All the decent wood from removals I keep as I run my home 90% from it and therefore I like to bring the cord back as big as possible to my yard for processing, hence a decent lift required.

Good thread thanks for the steer. Could I just ask is the 5.3 a middle of the road model, suitable perhaps for a smaller business model like mine?

I’ve had not experience of a 5.3, mine a 8.4s @kevinjohnsonmbe has a 7.3 I think.

 

I think access is the big issue.

 

Really it’s for you to make the calculations re. Cost/size/lift ability. @Yorkshire Compact LoadersIs your man for more advice.

When looking for my first loader for my business after 6 months of research and head scratching I chose MultiOne 5.3 (Machinery sales was not on my agenda at this time. )This was due to cost, service, availability of demo and other customer reviews , dimensions and lift capacity.

Our loaders have oscillating axles meaning that all four wheels are kept on the ground even with rough terrain, the grapples are well built too.
