Lift logs with a mewp bucket

Got frowned at a little today because I was using the bucket to stash logs in on a removal, before repositioning the bucket to throw them into the drop zone.

Assuming I don't overload the bucket beyond what it is rated to are they any regulations that say I can't do this?

No idea if theres a legislation for it, but have seen it done plenty of times and done it myself a few times.  You obviously have to be careful how much you put in it.  Where i'd be particularly cautious is cutting and holding big limbs.  I've seen this jolt a bucket a few times through the shock loading.
