Hi guys.

Can any one advise me what make of tachometer would be good for my saws, I have a mix of sthil and husky and although they both have their own versions of tachometer.  I'm having issues finding the refresh rates and any other tech info.  Also can anyone advise any other brands that are viable.

I do all the maintenance work myself to save on costs and the fact that most dealers here take too long with repairs. This is one piece of equipment I desperately need.

Spanks in advance

You really want a tach that you just hold close to the lead, eg tiny tach  I have a lead type that you wrap around the ht lead but it’s a pita if your doing lots, oh btw,, and with the fastest refresh rate eg, 0.5 sec  not the 5sec.

edit, and the 20k, those buggers from vachina sent a silly 5k which reset at 7k. I had to do alsorts to get them to sent another, then the wrong one was sent again, dumb-China’s.

so I brought else where.
