Cherry picker problem

Hi.

I just joined this forum as it seems to be the only one discussing and helping with cherry pickers.

i live in france and have just bought a mazda van with multitel 14.5m lift

It has been used a couple of times, and all worked perfectly. Mid way through today, the basket would only partially self level, and this had worsened to not levelling at all. All other commands seem to work ok.

i know nothing about hydraulics, and wondered if the fluid level is critical, as a friend with a mini digger suggested i will go through a lot of fluid ( no leaks so need to clarify with him).

can anyone make any suggestions before i run it to an agricultural repairer , im in a great area for that at least.

fluid level is important but not critical as long as theres sufficient to stop the pump from cavitating your friend is talking bollocks if theres no leaks where will the oil go I don't think its that warm that the oil will evaporate try swapping the solenoids around to see if it transfers the problem to another service
