Landy reloved

First rained off day today so finally got crossmember fitted on the 90, shocked to see it wasn’t the first time round and was a hell of a lot worse than rest of the chassis. Only been laid up 6 months or so!

Went for 3mm one but imagine it’ll be rusty in no time so probably lather it in underseal.

If it’s persisting it down tomorrow ill get tow bar painted and back on and have the engine out and have a bash at fitting HD clutch kit. Can’t see me getting it finished but forecast more rain Monday too...the grass may well grow yet this year!

Looks great ? Miss mine. Usual story, got fed up with repairs as it was my everyday relied upon workhorse. Got rid of it and for some reason now go all misty eyed when I see one! ?? I'm sure I'm not the only one......

Fresh engine and gearoil in one of those shotblasting guns is all Ive ever used on mine and never had to weld them.

thanks,

H

great idea but splash thru a puddle or ford a shallow stream and watch all the pollution running down stream as you drive thru.  I prefer proper underseal like Waxoyl as it does not wash off easily like old or new enjun oil.
