I found the tachs where you have to wrap the wires round the HT lead to be a PITA. especially on MS200s as the side cover has to be removed! OK for the occasional user but not for commercial use.

TuscanPhil....That isn't the same model, Runleader make lots of different tachs but you need the one I posted as it is the one with .5second refresh rate. 

 

Ive tested it on my echo long reach and ms440 so far and it seems absolutely bob on.....I don't need to wrap the wires around the HT lead as it picks up a strong pulse from just laying the cable near the sparkplug/HT lead. 

 

Very happy with the purchase considering price and how rarely it will get used.
