I'm trying to look the Arb Associations risk assessment templates to get my own sorted, but I'm being hit with "Access to the page '/Help-Advice/Public/Help-for-arborists' is denied." when clicking the link... I'm logged in, even tried registering with another email with the same result.

I'm hoping one the AA techies might be able to help...?

Cheers,

I don't believe they are free ant more. Available to AAAC's. or whatever acronym they use now for approved contractors

Ahh, bugger. Thanks for the info.

Seems odd to stand for improving industry standards and H&S, but restrict a worthwhile resource for the little outfits...
Guess I'll just have to dust of my copy of Office '97

I think you do have to be a member to access a lot of the bits and bobs that used to be freely available.

Part of this is because, whilst The AA is endeavouring to shape and enhance the industry, there are many factors that affect the diffusion of information and documentation.

Cost is one of them. Misuse and/or misunderstanding of health and safety systems, protocols and data capture is another. There are more.

The cost of membership is more than made up for by the documents, supporting information and other benefits that’ll allow the end user to apply them appropriately and should improve awareness around the why of health and safety, not just form filling.

Peace, courage and respect

I looked last week and did manage to land on the right page eventually, but only after resubmitting my log in details three time (ordinary member). Tried today and thought that they were no longer on.

If you get the Help for arborists page with the three buttons towards the top of the page - Log in, View help for arborists and Join, hit the 'Help for arborists' button and it should take you to the templates (assuming that you're a member & signed in)
