Just seen this advertised as the first pick up to tow 3.5 tonne legally whilst still carrying a tonne in the back 

Might be of interest to some as all the others have a pathetic carrying capacity with a fully layden trailer

Yeah buts its a Ssangyong, they have a certain reputation for gearboxes. brakes, bearings, paint. But mostly gearboxes. Bright side the gearbox is only 7grand.

Just checked. 5 years and unlimited mileage!

 

Wouldn't fancy buying one afterwards, mind!

Previous generation MB engine and gearbox/transmission, if I recall, so should be good/well proven stuff.

Whats not to like, well 'cept the name i suppose.

They’re so ugly, I see one in a nearby village and it must be the worst looking car since British Leyland.

That would also have the advantage of instantly making it worth £10k more.

If my memory serves well, a crew cab has to be able to carry a tonne to qualify as vat reclaimable and a few tow 3500kg too.
