Ford ranger rear bearing

Hi guys

Just after some advice on my truck.

Its a 2006/7 ford ranger 2.5. I had one of the rear wheel bearings replaced before Xmas (at a hefty cost).

The other side needs doing as it sounds dry as a bone. No garages in my area have a vice large enough to press fit the bearing onto the half shaft (other bearing and half shaft were sent away to an engineer hence the high price).

For now I just want to get the half shaft out so I can grease it up ( it’s not a sealed bearing) but my problem is that my rear differential box doesn’t have the standard 8 bolts facing the rear , the bolts are on the other side where the pinion bearing is.... so does anyone no of another way To get the half shaft out?

And is is it possible to get a Haynes manual for this truck, can’t find one anywhere. Everything seems to be American!

 Cheers all
