Selling a Biomass boiler and transferring the RHI to the new owner.

Recommended Posts

Has anyone had any experience doing this and how big a job was it. I have a 2 year old Glenfarrow boiler / log dryer which I’m thinking of selling and I’m wondering if the process is pretty straight forward?

What tarrif and size are you on? What fuel can you burn?

in theory, yes it can be done. I have never heard one being completed yet, simply down to the time it takes ofgem to sort it out.

your buyer may not get any RHI for several years but there is still a value.
