Stihl chain is very hard to beat IMO, Oregon coming a close second. Not sure on the Husky 50 in regards to whether it is .325 or 3/8" as not much experience with those saws but you could look for an oregon 75lpx (3/8) or 21lpx (.325). Husky have a new full chisel chain in 3/8 coming out soon that is supposed to be extremely good but if it is a .325 probably better with the Oregon for now as the decent Husky chain will require a bar swap too.

I probably wont be the cheapest on any of those chains so im not putting a link up to our site.:)  There are plenty of cheap chains out there but if you want the best stick with Stihl or Oregon for now.

From what we've used Stihl chains are just about the best performing but at a price, Oregon and Husqvarna are decent and reliable and rotatech are the best for day to day because they're cheap for similar performance.

Thank you for your advice and honesty.

Much appreciated

No problem.

Being good at sharpening is probably the most important thing through, I'm not being patronising so apologises if it comes across that way. The amount of badly sharpened chains I see on pro saws used by professionals is quite staggering.
