I'm converting my ford ranger into a tipper. ive found a good ram and pump (picture on the left) but i cant find the brackets for the ram anywhere. the bloke i work for has a tipper and the brackets have grease nipples which would be handy. i'm guessing this ram sits in a kind of cup with arms then these arms go into 2x brackets like the pic on the right. any help with where to get all the brackets would be great.

On a side note...the flowfit ram mounts on a pin at the base. You would be better with a 2 stage ram. Get in touch with DEL engineering UK, they do both a diy kit with all mounts and pivots and also a made up subframe with ram already mounted

yeah thats looks puny. You will have to mount it near the back as it doesnt look like it has much stroke length. This will make it work hard. Much better off with multi. I had a multi on my old tipper mounted between rear axle and cab and that struggled with a 3 ton of wet clay. My new tipper i specced 6ton ram also 3 stage.
