Hi everyone, i need to get my climbing kit lolered, however i don’t have paperwork for some of it and this is the first time it’ll be lolered. Does this matter???

Thanks

Does the undocumented stuff have labels/stamps on? If so you can usually determine a manufacture date. Or in the case of most metal ware it will have serial and batch numbers stamped which can be checked with the manufacturer. (You might have to pay for the examiners time to check it)
As long as you can determine what it is, CE marks etc, and date of manufacture/first use, most reasonable Loler examiners would be fine with it.

Traceability is the key for LOLER so if i cant trace and find any info its a fail for me . My advice is try and avoid buying any vital climbing gear second hand as you dont know if they been hammered so any new equipment keep all paperwork for LOLER.Be safe
