I'm all out of firewood for this season, but the last 10 cube or so has all been 90% softwood. When the **** hits the fan and folk need wood, they soon snap it up and burn it. Had a few thank you texts back saying how well it burns.

Cmon the softwood!

Sort of likewise here:  funny how it's crap until the hardwood's gone, then suddenly it's not that bad.


Being the eternal hoper (I wouldn't class myself as an optimist!) I just wonder if this spell of weather could be a gentle catharsis for softwood...


I live in hope...
