There but for the ~Grace of God go the rest of us with all our near misses.  You and Sean keep reminding us to take extra care.

We knew a man who fell only a few feet from a ladder and landed on his heel which shattered the bone.  This was America and Doctors are expensive.  They put his leg in plaster but obviously had not done their job properly because when it was taken off some weeks later, he had developed some dark lesions which turned out to be gangrene.

I was worried when your foot was put back in plaster again because the removable boot would help to keep an eye on things and  your strange numb feelings as well caused me further alarm

Just have another word with the doctor about the removable boot, because the foot is so complicated and you are putting so much more pressure on it than your wrist, compounded by the extra pressure that you feel you need to be doing something.

Hi Bill I can’t fault the hospital they have done a really good job of looking after me the funny feelings I keep getting are to be expected according to the team who put me back together have said not only did I dislocate my talus I broke it as well and if I have any worries I have the direct number for the fracture clinic so big thanks to the NHS we would be F###ED without them , thanks for all your concern.I went to my workshop yesterday and managed some chainsaw work sat in my wheelchair will post the photos when I get an chance
