I tried out an Oxdale but did not get on with it. Well priced for the build and reasonably quick but the killer for me is how close the blade is to the vertical support. Tried a few ugly logs and it would just glance off the back of them and push them towards you.

Nicest road tow I have seen at the shows is the AMR but it's a very different price.

Do the Oxdale splitters not have a curved blade like an axe? Seems a strange idea?

Really?! Mine was as quick as any splitter I’ve seen before and Still got through a cube an hour

I have not seen it first hand in action but next door did and commented on how slow it was. They have also bent it. think it's rated 22 tonnes which will partly explain the slow speed.
