I know there’s always a turnover of people on here, but I don’t recall anyone disappearing as suddenly and inexplicably as Stephan.

One minute he’s all over the forum then pouf! He’s gone, not even logged on for a month.

Odd.

I’ll @Stefan Palokangas See what it’s all about..

Great minds, n all that......

I was thinking of Lee Winger today. Where did he go to?

I know he went to Australia but ain't seen him about here in an age.

With some you can see it coming, they drift off, life takes over, not much else to add or learn from the forum.

Stef was in in full flow.

I'm sure us Arbtalk oldies often wonder about those who no longer post: remember the fun with Mr Ed?! (sorry Steve B!)

More Seriously I miss the valuable input of Dean Lofthouse; I hope he's thriving.

Ed is a member of an American forum off which I’m a member, he’s an infrequent poster these days, but professionally and personally he’s going great guns.

There's quite a few old timers we don't see often.

Perhaps it's to do with the fact that the forum is mainly full of new posters asking the same sorry of questions, and not many long time posters starting new threads.

I'm very much guilty of this. Always seems to be something going on and I struggle to find time to sit down an write a well thought out post.

I've no excuse, I just freelance climb. If the bigger company owners can do it I should pull my finger out.

I don’t think anyone or anything is to blame, people come people go.

There have, however,  been some changes that I think mirror society, polemicists are more numerous and more vocal.
