Can't find any threads on this subject.

If anyone could link me to a thread?

After an "informal" chat with local council high ways who explained each council has different standards.

Is this correct?

What traffic management do you use and on what class of road?

Help greatly appreciated as I don't want to make any mistakes in a highly dangerous environment.

Thanks

If you are looking for advice on a particular job then it’s best to speak with highways or a TM firm as they will give the correct advice and make sure you arse is covered.

If you are setting out TM (even just signs and cones on temporary works) you would ideally have the signing lighting and guarding ticket.

Check out the link below, it’s the red book you get on TM courses and is good to keep in trick to give guidance on TM requirements
