Rope

Recommended Posts

What would people recommend as a good rope that can be used for both srt and ddrt? Want to start using srt more but certainly stuck in my ddrt ways so a good bridge would be great. Currently using Blue Tongue.

Cheers!

i would have just recommended the Blue Tongue anyway.  Can't fault it really.  Comes in a stack of different colours if you just fancy a change!
Cougar blue is a nice rope though, not sure who is selling it still at the moment.

For both, I like the Yale Poison Ivy, the one with the yellow dots in it.

Just wondering what everyone is using for their roperunner and bdb?

Currently using cougar blue on both but I’m about to fail that when I inspect the kits this week.

I was thinking of getting 2 different ropes so I’m 100% open to suggestions and reviews of what you all found works best.

Cheers,

That tuefulberger Xstatic looks good... might replace the horrible static rope I brought recently that’s so bad I’ve forgotten it’s name ! Like climbing on cheese wire , never had a rope milk as bad either!
