Hi there. This is my first post so be kind ;) just made a career change and passed CS30/CS31 ticket to start. Also began ABC Level 2 cert in Arboriculture. I would like to do a first aid course can anyone advise a suitable course? There's a red cross facility in my town so that would be ideal. I see standard courses and also a high risk course but that one is more expensive.

Thanks in advance

You should find some courses quoted as being 'First Aid - forestry', or 'First Aid +F'.  These will cover all the usual stuff in a standard first aid course, but add in the likes of severe trauma, severe crush injuries, hyperthermia and hypothermia etc.  These course will tend to be a bit more expensive as it is an additional unit added to the standard course.
