Because, like RV's they wont be running on petrol or diesel..  every little helps, or will help.. 

I thought you look at the big picture.

 

It's nothing to do with congestion. Can you tell us where there is congestion between the North n South? I travel it many times a month and very rarely come amongst heavy congestion

predicted congestion on the railways..  and the ability to take nine million cars and trucks off the road each year.. its the nine million cars and trucks that interest me.. I mean you said yourself theres no real congestion on the roads.  

 

I see a time when higher fuel price creates demand destruction (abandoning cars), and people needing an alternative..  hence HS2...   getting your ducks in a row.

Hahaha because,  unlike the budget which was boring, I thought I'd juxtapose that boring budget with something interesting. Just happened I'd watched Thunderfoots vid a few minutes before I came on her to give my twopence worth..

 

which happened to be a good thing because this morning I saw a piece about airbus on google news, about said company getting into the EV airplane market..  now I might of been impressed if I hadn't watched Thunderfoots vid, but because I did see the vid I gave the article its proper first reaction..   what a load of b........ks..
