It's an interesting topic, as I'm sure as soon as the log leaves a kiln it must begin to absorb moisture again? Even the doors in my house change with humidity, so how long before a kiln dried log in somebodies wood store in their garden becomes nothing more than a 'log' again?

Surely so long as it's been in a kiln at somepoint it will always be "kiln dried" - even if it's floating about in a pond

Surely it should be as in boxing .....introducing , in the blue corner wearing daa de daa de daa the FORMER heavy weight champion ...... So formally kiln dried ...

Nice setup [emoji106]

I would say its misleading. Yes, they may have been dried in a kiln at some stage but then it defeats the whole purpose if they've then been left out in the rain...

To me the whole point of kiln dried is the speed at which they're dried & killing off some beasties & minimising mould.
