Husqy T540xp (ii)

Recommended Posts

Evening all,

Bit of a geeky one this.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to tell a T540xp from a T540xp ii from looks alone?

Failing that, does anyone know when the ii hit the streets?

Thanks,

Rob.

Not really as you an swap the II parts over to the first generation but it will say if it is a II on the ID plate behind the sprocket cover.

The II parts are the fuel tank, rear AV spring, the cylinder cover which is the grey plastic piece the rear AV spring attaches to and then some other bits like coil, flywheel and IIRC carburetor.
