STIHL EXPANDS BATTERY CAPABILITY WITH NEW AR 1000

I've been using the still back battery for a while now and found it spot on. I initially bought it to run the battery blower as this use to rinse the ap300. It was also a back up for my other battery hedge cutters.

I now run a hsa 94 with it and it's spot on. Really light and controllable reducing fatigue on long stretches of hedge. I found it strange at first having the cord but would not say it gets in the way.

Down sides I would say are the initial cost of the battery and if you are having to move a ladder or platform you have to unplug and put the cutter down.

Hope that helps.

Jim
