Sorbus torminalis?

Personally I don't think it is torminalis, which is much more angular. But it's Sorbus all right. In the UK there's all sorts of hybrids and variations on what looks a bit like a Swedish Whitebeam. Yours could be one of these, related to Bastard Service (thuringiaca) or an exciting local hybrid/subspecies. E.g. up here we have S. arranensis and in Irelan there's S. hibernica. All looking abit like this, not quite full-on Swedish indentations.

Anyone else got any ideas?

Thee service tree of fontainbleau (Sorbus latifolia) seems as good a guess as any. If anyone's in doubt about how hard it is to pin down Sorbus in the UK, google it. People have spent their whole lives trying to categorise the genus.

Also, it cna be dangerous trying to identify off just a few leaves, as leaf shape can and often will change throughout a tree throughout its life.
