Have you tried our Rotatech chainsaw chains?

Good first impressions, hit barbed wire first cut with it and it carried on cutting perfectly for the rest of the day. Ringed up 2 oak trees in record time. Definitely cheap and they seem pretty cheerful.

Unfortunately I've ordered a bar and chain for my topper but there's been a delay on delivery, that by itself is fine but a lack of contact from northern ARB did annoy me slightly.

All in all Impressed with the chains though.

Bought two for my 450e which I got fed up with buying expensive chains for as it seems to have a mind of its own to throw chains off - tool less adjuster - pita.

They have been excellent, slightly aggressive but have stayed sharp really well cutting dead dry elm and norway without excessive stretching..

Like others have said though dispatch and delivery are very slow.

Tried the cheaper ones Rob D sells but not as good however his service is excellent, really prompt dispatch and delivery plus any stock issues and you get a phone call to sort it out so he gets my business for bars and branded chains.

Ive used Rotatech chains for a while now with no issues but just bought new chains for ms 440 & ms 660.

25 inch 84 Drive links & 36 inch 114 drive links.

We just can't get them on the bar.

Spoke to rotatech and they said they ve had no issues before.

Anyone else have this problem on big chains?

Yes I have. Also northern arb know about. Chains not pre stretched so wouldnt fit even though same DL as chain that was previously fitted. To be fair I had a large 9pin sprocket on which didn't help

No problems with small ground saws but had 2 snap on the 880 with a 30" bar. One had been sharpened once and snapped on dead cedar, the other had ringed up half a beech and snapped after less than 30 minutes use. The bars look like they have been dipped in thick paint, not used them yet.

I tried some Rotatech chains on my husky but experienced a problem I haven't had with any other chains, the guide bar groove and end wheel would be absolutely full of crud and seized after no more than 20 mins work, requiring a stripdown and clean out, tried both chains and had the same issue, returned to by husky chain and it was fine again.

I had the exact same problem, only it would affect the chain after only a couple of cuts, sometimes halfway through a back cut it would get so tight the clutch couldn't turn the sprocket.

Maybe that’s due to something else…
