Would any 1 have an issue of arb climber 4 i would like to read the article on ballistic ppe in tree work for heat exhaustion etc. We are made wear them [the jackets i mean] in the public service ....any thoughts::confused1:

My thoughts are, thats bloody ridiculous. Its too hot even wearing a t-shirt this time of year let alone a ballistic jacket! Perhaps your employers or whoever decided this should come and do a days work with you wearing one

Try working on line clearance in NZ! Fire retardant overalls on top of your chainsaw gear are mandatory for several companies.

:001_huh: I don't know how you could cope with that, sounds ridiculous!

As Steve says about ballistic jackets, no chance of me wearing those, haven't worn type c trousers for years either.
