Super lightweight strimmer recommends

Recommended Posts

My ageing mum wants a strimmer for going around the edge of the lawn. She has used cheapo electric ones in the past but their lifespan as been pretty poor. Tried a baby 2 stroke but that was too heavy for her. So any suggestions and we are not talking super manicured lawn here and some of the grass will be on the longer side so a bit of oomph would not go amiss. Budget is pretty open ended.

Thanks

Thanks Steve

She did look at the cheaper range but again found it too heavy, she is in her mid 80s though. Is the pro range lighter?

I don't think she could pull start a 2 stroke these days. It's going to need to be corded or battery.

Other half's dad got some Honda battery stuff when he bought a new ride on mower recently. I'll have a look when I'm over there today and let you know what they are like. :001_smile:
