Customers tree and they say trim them trim it is. Difficult to keep everyone happy by the sound of it but lad has got to learn things in life do not last. Do not take this the wrong way I have done tree work at schools were pupils have autism not easy to explain why things have to be done.

Sounds like a horrible customer! I bet most people who know her probably knows she's a nnightmare so probably won't pay too much attention to her if she start complaining. You can't please everyone - as long as most of your customers are happy you will be fine reputation wise

Yeah she really is. I could never have foreseen this outcome. I know it'll all be sorted by next week but I'm dreading telling the neighbour I have to cut the last branches off.

Very difficult situation. The problem with offering to build a den is that as far as the autistic child is concerned it won't be THE den.

That's true. I think I'm going to go to a nursery on Saturday and pick him up a sapling to plant himself.

Yeah I know I have to do it, and I get the kid can't be wrapped in cotton wool, but it's almost as if the customer want to go out of her way to spoil this kids fun. I guess I just have to be the bad guy in someone's books. I'm just a bit pee'd off that I have been dropped in a neighbourly dispute and the neighbours won't even talk to each other and try and sort it amicably. I'm a arborist not a flaming relationships councillor.

I think you are doing the best you can and sound like you are matching diplomacy with integrity. Go easy on yourself eh! In a couple of weeks youll be able to look back and chuckle

Yeah your right mate. I just need to get it done and put it to the back of my head. Onwards and upwards as they say.

Cheers

How old is the child? Camo pop up tent or similar as good will gesture if you feel you want to👍🏻. That way his mum tells all her friends what a great bloke you are and you may get more work 👌🏻

Might buy one myself for brew breaks lol
