And yes Stubby it runs and cuts now so i think its not worn out...yet.

Rectangular shaped dent about the center of the chain oil tank wall on the front of the saw below the exhaust . Can see it in the pictures you posted .

Ive never noticed that, but it doesn't leak oil from there so i dont think it goes all the way through the tank.

Ok . That's good . There are ways to repair it if it does . Bottom right hand corner of the dent looks like it might go through but I'm only seeing it on my PC and I'm in West Sussex !
