hayter condor

Just picked up a used hayter condor, can anyone tell me what fluid you use to top up the hydro transmission.

if its in the plastic pot with the screw on lid I used to use normal engine oil 20/50

I rate those things with the twin disc/rotors! They have stopped making them apparently, and a Rep from one of our dealers suggested that if GreenMech wanted to go back to making stuff like that, he would order 30 straight off!

Excellent machine that will cut tall wet grass and also cut a well maintained lawn and leave a good finish. Only issue i find after a long stint using one is my Hips are sore !

 

I used Hy Tran oil in mine.

For the hydrostatic unit, it should be BP Vanellus M20W, BP Energol HLP22 or equivalent. 

 

And for the Transaxle, should be SAE EP90 Transmission Oil
