Hi carving of the deer is brilliant, as for the tail not quite right in my opinion, how ever if you used google search and put say Roe Doe ? You may get some rear photos of the deer. If not let me know I have somewhere a book on Roe Deer.

What species is it? When i can carve animals and you can tell what species it is from a carving, that's when you're a master. I unfortunately am not, I'm just happy it looks something like a deer.
